How do you select your fabrics?
Being an australian slow fashion label, we only use 100% natural or recycled fabrics in our designs. We design trans seasonal clothing, so we choose a fabric that can be worn in a variety of climates and settings.
Where are your designs made?
We strongly believe in ethical fashion, so all of our collections are expertly made by fully supported and independent tailors in a small family run production house in India. This means the people who make your clothes are not being taken advantage of, they are receiving above the minimum award and have good workplace conditions which most of us just take for granted.
Have you seen where your designs are made?
Of course, Gild visits their production house each year to spend time with the team and personally source beautiful and long lasting fabrics. So you can be sure that when you buy from GILD your buying conscious clothing.

This is such a striking dress. Two of my friends bought this dress after seeing me in it. It is lightweight and so comfortable. I have worn it so much over the summer.

I absolutely love my Paloma dress!! It’s so versatile as I can wear it casually with sandal's and then put on my heels ready for evening cocktails, fab for any event. The 100% cotton makes this dress so comfortable and lightweight to wear. I also just love the detail of Gild with the super cute sleeves and pockets 🥰🤩🙌
